Privacy Notice

You should read the Privacy Statement integrally, but here are few key points you need to know.

  • When you visit this site, we collect some information through Google Analytics in order to have usage statistics of our site. Those information are not linked to personal information and includes IP address, the type of browser you are using, the operating system version.
  • We use cookies to store your navigation data (current cart, login session, etc). You can disable cookies from your browser preferences.
  • We don't collect and don't store credit card information. When you place an order, you are redirected to 2Checkout (our commercial provider) to process orders. In doing so, we adhere to their Terms of Service.
  • After you placed an order, we store the following information provided during checkout: full name, email address, purchased products, amount spent and country. Those information are used to generate a license file and for internal statistics. We don't share those information with third parties.
  • We use Google Analytics to collect tracking data such as your location and pages you visit on our website. We need this data to understand how you use our website so we can improve its design and functionality.
  • We use MailChimp as newsletter provider. We don't spam and only send few emails about new products, updates and some sales. In doing so, we adhere to their Terms of Service.

Privacy Statement

Information Collected Online About You and Why We Collect It

Orders and Purchase History

We maintain a record of all your purchases: when you make an order (product, service) through the site, we ask you to provide personally identifiable information by filling out and submitting a form. This information includes your name, home or work telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, and payment method (but NOT payment information). We use this information, including purchase date, to process your orders, and to allow us to send updates, process refunds, or transfer purchases from one account to another.

You may request details of all information held about you by us at any time.

Payment Data Is NOT Collected or Retained by PolyChrome DSP

Payment processing for our store is exclusively processed through 2Checkout, regardless of whether you are paying via a PayPal account, credit card, or debit card. We do not collect, process, or retain your payment data. It does not exist on nor pass through our web server. We have NO access whatsoever to your payment account information.

Username and Password

When you register to our User Area, you will provide us a username, your full name and a password of your own choosing. Password data is encrypted in our database and cannot be accessed (only reset). For security, it is always best to use a different password for every website you use.

Cookies and Tracking Information

We use cookies on our site to save your login and cart status. While logged into our site, you can access your account information, download previous purchases and updates, and so on.

Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. Log Files

Like most standard Website servers we use log files. These includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. These files enable the analysis of trends, the administration of the site, the tracking of user's movement in the aggregate, the diagnosis of problems with our servers and the collection of broad demographic information for aggregate use.

IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personal information.

Use of Email Address

Immediately after successfully completing the order process, we will send you an e-mail with the review of the product/service you have selected. This e-mail will also contain your order number and download links. You will receive this only once per transaction.

Newletters

When you complete an order process, you can agree (opt in) to the submission of our newsletter. When you subscribe to any of PolyChrome DSP newsletters you can be assured that your email address will not sold, exchanged, or in any way shared with third parties. Our newsletters are low traffic, so they will be sent only when something relevant (a new product/service, special offers, important communications) needs to be communicated to our subscribers or customers. You can unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time.

Sharing of information

Although we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may be required by law to disclose information you have provided in obtaining our product/service. We may also disclose information against someone who poses a threat to PolyChrome DSP's interests (such as customer fraud) or whose activities could bring harm to others.

Third Party Intermediaries

We use an outside credit card processing company and bank check processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personal information for any other purpose.

Transferring your information outside of Europe

As part of the services offered to you through this website, the information which you provide to us may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (“EU”). By way of example, this may happen if any of our servers are from time to time located in a country outside of the EU. These countries may not have similar data protection laws to the EU. By submitting your personal data, you’re agreeing to this transfer, storing or processing. If we transfer your information outside of the EU in this way, we will take steps to ensure that appropriate security measures are taken with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected as outlined in this Policy.

If you use our services while you are outside the EU, your information may be transferred outside the EU in order to provide you with those services.

Security

Our site is currently hosted by ServeBolt AS (Privacy Policy) and servers are located in New York (NY), USA and it's encrypted by HTTPS with an SSL certificate.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our user's information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our user's information is protected. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment, in a locked facility.

Your Rights

At any time, you may log in to your User Account to view all your information stored on our server. What you see in this area (email, physical address if any, purchase history) is the entirety of the data we store.

You may also email us at [email protected] and we can provide the raw data above as it is exported from our eCommerce platform. Please allow up to 3 full business days for us to process these requests.

You may also at any time request that we remove your user data from our store. Please keep in mind that by doing so, you will be unable to view or re-download your previous purchases, and you will lose access to any past or future discounts associated with your previous user data. For accounting and tax compliance reasons, we cannot remote transaction data.

Notification of changes in the privacy statement

If we decide to change our privacy statement , we will post those changes on this page, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

If, however, we are going to use user's personal information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify users on line. Our advice to the user is to periodically check this present privacy statement, in order to be up-to-date on the ways we manage personal data.
